Unqualified Advice: I was often told growing up that being happy was a choice, and even if bad things happen, it doesn’t mean there’s nothing to be happy about. This doesn’t mean you should put things off and wait until the last chance, but it does mean you don’t need to worry so much about how you’re spending every second of every day. There will be more time tomorrow, or the day after to do whatever it is you want to do next. As long as you’re enjoying yourself, it isn’t a waste of time. If I spent hours drawing something, did I waste most of my day? No. There was a particular line in a song called Anxiety Attack written by PJ Liguori that really explained how I felt.
